Who we are
Senthai Cemented Carbide Tools (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is a US-invested manufacturer of tungsten carbide wear parts and snow plow cutting edges, based in Rayong on Thailand’s eastern seaboard. Our production team combines Thai technicians trained on our own line with Chinese and American engineers who have spent their careers in cemented carbide.
We are not a trading company with a workshop attached. Powder blending, pressing, sintering, brazing, welding and vulcanisation all happen inside our own facility — which is why we can tell a customer exactly which sintering run their edge came from.
The numbers behind the plant
| Measure | Figure | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Carbide wear-part experience | 21 years | Grades and geometries already proven in the field |
| Blades and edges produced | 40,000+ | A production line that repeats, not one that experiments |
| Active partners | 80+ | Fleet, OEM and distributor programmes running in parallel |
| Production base | 20,000 m² | Capacity for season peaks without a second supplier |
| Patents | 10+ | Process control developed in-house rather than licensed |
Why Thailand
Rayong is an established industrial province with deep-water ports, reliable power and a skilled manufacturing workforce. Manufacturing here keeps the company inside a stable trade environment while putting the plant within reach of North American ports.
All tungsten raw material is purchased outside China. That decision was deliberate: it removes a single point of failure from the supply chain and keeps documentation straightforward for customers who need to answer questions about origin.

What we manufacture
- Carbide snow plow blades for trucks, graders, loaders and skid steers.
- Rubber-flex JOMA style blades with carbide wear segments for quieter, surface-friendly clearing.
- Carbide inserts and edge strips supplied loose or pre-welded for tender-driven specifications.
- Packed ice kits and other aggressive edge systems for compacted snow and ice.
- Custom and OEM wear parts to drawing, including private-label packaging.
How we work with customers
- You send the problem: a machine model, a worn blade, a drawing or a tender document.
- Our engineers propose an edge profile, a carbide grade and the packing that suits your handling.
- We cut a sample or a short trial batch so the decision is made on real roads, not on a data sheet.
- Production runs to the approved drawing, and the specification is archived for repeat orders.
Our management system is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and we hold more than ten inventions and utility patents covering production methods used on the line.
Where our products end up
Roughly ten years of North American export experience has shaped how we design. Blades that work in a Shenzhen workshop are not automatically right for a Minnesota county fleet, so our edge profiles, bolt patterns and packing have been adapted to the way North American crews actually change a blade at the side of a road.
Frequently asked questions
Is SENTHAI a manufacturer or a distributor?
A manufacturer. We own the production route from powder metallurgy through to finished edge, and we sell directly to fleets, OEMs and distributors.
Can we visit the factory?
Yes — visitors are welcome, and remote video reviews are available if travel is not practical. Our factory page explains the production areas you can see and what information to prepare beforehand.
Do you work with small fleets as well as large OEM programmes?
Both. Small fleets usually start with a trial order and grow from there; OEM and distributor customers typically work against a rolling forecast and a fixed specification.
What certifications can you provide with an order?
Material certificates, inspection records and batch traceability documentation can be supplied with production orders. Tell us at quotation stage which documents your receiving department needs.
